Recovery review questions
What is a recovery review?
A recovery review is a confidential assessment of one or more past-due commercial accounts or judgments. Black Ledger evaluates the available information — amount, age, jurisdiction, documentation, and any lien or judgment position — and returns a prioritized read on which matters warrant further action and which are better monitored.
Does a recovery review cost anything?
The initial review is a no-cost, confidential assessment of the information you submit. If a matter is qualified for active recovery, Black Ledger routes it to a vetted recovery partner and the terms of that engagement are set directly between you and that partner.
What information should I include?
Business-level facts are enough to start: approximate balance outstanding, number of accounts, whether the matter is a receivable or a judgment, the age of the debt or judgment, and the state or jurisdiction. Do not submit sensitive debtor financial data, account numbers, or personally identifying information through this form.
Who typically requests a review?
CFOs, Controllers, Directors of Credit, Credit Managers, accounts receivable leaders, commercial creditors, and attorneys handling commercial judgments.
What happens after I submit?
You receive an immediate on-screen confirmation and an email acknowledgment. Black Ledger responds to qualified inquiries within one business day with next steps.
