Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of blacklg.com (the "Site") and any related services provided by BlackLG. By using the Site you agree to these Terms.
No Attorney-Client or Advisory Relationship
The Site provides general information about commercial recovery, credit, and enforcement. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, financial, or tax advice, and no attorney-client, agency, or fiduciary relationship is formed by visiting the Site, submitting an inquiry, or subscribing to communications. Such a relationship arises only under a signed written engagement with BlackLG or a partner firm.
Commercial Matters Only
BlackLG reviews business-to-business (B2B) commercial receivables. We do not handle consumer debts, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) does not apply to our review and routing work.
Submissions
When you submit an invoice, document, or inquiry, you represent that you have authority to submit the information and that it is accurate. We may decline any matter for any reason.
Review and Routing
Initial review of submitted matters is provided at no cost. Where a qualified recovery path exists, BlackLG may route the matter to a vetted recovery partner. Any subsequent engagement — including fees, costs, and scope — is governed by a separate written agreement with that partner, which controls over any general statements on the Site.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Every matter depends on jurisdiction, debtor solvency, documentation, and other factors outside our control.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, branding, "The Black Ledger," "Black Ledger Score™," and related marks — is owned by BlackLG or its licensors and may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlackLG and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive venue lies in the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
